A print magazine co-founded and co-directed with Shina Kang. Issue One, “Desire Path,” gathers essays, illustration and interviews about the unofficial routes people carve for themselves, from tactical urbanism to accessible design. It includes my interview with Japanese book designer Yukimasa Matsuda, which I conducted and translated, on observing everyday life through the lens of a designer. Spiral binding and folded inner pages invite readers to move through the issue out of order, so finding your own way becomes part of the theme.
